Yellowhead Tribal College is proud to recognize the achievements of one of our professors, Dr. Mertella Montague, as President of the National Black Coalition of Canada (Edmonton Chapter). Her commitment to, and work in, Black and Indigenous communities in Edmonton is commendable.

Yellowhead Tribal College was happy to participate in Black History Month Celebrations this February. YTC had a booth at the Black History Month Opening Ceremonies at West Edmonton Mall and look forward to further opportunities to make connections between Indigenous and Black communities, as well as recognize and serve the needs of all our students, from all backgrounds.
