Course details

Social Studies 90 emphasizes the development of critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills essential for post-secondary study. The focus of this course is the study of democratic and authoritarian governments, economies, and societies on a global front in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, and Aboriginal history in Canada from the pre-contact era to the present.
