Economics of Renewable Energy

Course details

This three-credit course explores the topic of renewable energy and potential business opportunities within it. The challenges of the energy industry are front and center today, as many are considering turning to newer forms of renewable energy. Globally, non-renewable forms of energy generation continue to power the majority of economies today, but this is beginning to change as industries look to avoid the risks and issues with traditional energy sources. Students will be introduced to issues in this development in the energy industry using business and economic concepts and real-life examples.
