Current Trends in Educational Pedagogy

Course details

This is an introductory level course designed to demonstrate the importance of the teaching/learning exchange, which represents excellence in pedagogy and effective classroom instruction. Students will explore strategies in innovative teaching commensurate with the needs of the 21st century. Emphasis on student-centered learning using active learning approaches, personalized instruction furthered by the use of differentiation of instruction. Holistic child development will be explored through the examination of child to adolescent development from a variety of perspectives: psychological, cognitive, affective, and motor-kinesthetic domains.
